Kristen Bernier is a choreographer, movement educator, sculptor, and creative producer from the Gulf Coast of Florida and based in Chicago, IL since 2015. Her work has been exhibited and supported abundantly on both shores.

Kristen’s multidisciplinary live performances are beguiling moving-body-image panoramics. She often works with collaborators and is interested in rehearsal and performance being a safe place to challenge who we can be, promoting the process of being new. She flirts with contradictions of intimacy and solitude, comedy and tragedy, remembering and forgetting. 

Above all, she wishes to evoke and impart beautiful action.
