This short film contains footage shot 30 years apart on a camcorder my father gifted my mother before my birth. These fragments reveal touching scenes: holidays, birthdays, moments with now-estranged or deceased family members, and the aftermath of a natural disaster. The contiguity between present and past means to simulate memory and the ways we traverse emotional landscapes.
This film was created in collaboration with my family and edited by me, Kristen Bernier.
